18th Judicial Deputy District Attorney Amy Richards Tuesday in closing arguments called Aaron Thompson’s home a “torture chamber” and told the jury to convict him of causing the death of his daughter, Aarone. But one of Thompson’s lawyers said the prosecution had not proved the felony charge of child abuse resulting in death.

A Denver jury Monday decided Leo Cisneros was not guilty of reckless child abuse resulting in the death of his 10-year-old daughter, Auralia. He was still convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
