Gold Dome: Get Your Tickets To Cap Rock Today!

Happy Friday! Today's headlines include the weird and obscure, as well as news that the first pot-friendly credit union is set to open, a lawsuit seems imminent in Colorado Springs, the Spaghetti Monster is emerging in license photos, and smokers need not apply at one local employer.

Gold Dome: We Could Be Shoveling!

Happy Wednesday! We think everyone in Colorado should be grateful that we're not buried under five feet of snow like some people in the country are this morning. We know we could use the moisture, but we're certainly glad we don't have to shovel today. In today's headlines: no to Keystone XL, yes to state GOP leadership, and what's with the word of the year?

Gold Dome: Calm Before The Session Begins…

There are quite a few people spelling the end of chocolate, and we know a few people who may not be able to survive such an event. Chocoholics beware, it may be in short supply soon. In today's headlines, governors are joined together to ask Washington to stop the gridlock, Illegal Pete's is making national headlines, and people are getting ready to say goodbye (and hello) at the Capitol.

Gold Dome: They Won’t Be Tested!

A group of local students (with the support of their parents) is refusing to take standardized tests that their schools implement each year, so there's no testifying in some local schools of late. In other news, Sen. Udall is not interested in going quietly as he exists office, some are (already) speculating on the next election cycle (please wait while we try not to vomit) and Colorado flips the bird over a bird.

Gold Dome: Layers Upon Layers Upon Layers

I mean, we knew the 70 degree days had to come to an end, but this downward spiral weather is a lot to handle in such a short period of time. We hope you're all being safe on those roads (slow down to a lot of you, we saw some close calls this morning). In today's headlines, the state Senate majority celebrates in style, pollsters were better this election cycle, and is Polis headed for a leadership role?

Gold Dome: Just Couldn’t Get It Done

03 November 2014

The Broncos just couldn't get it done yesterday, but we still love them (and generally loathe the Patriots).
