Senate Judiciary to consider “Colorado Road and Community Safety Act” Wednesday
Would increase number of licensed drivers on the road, provide ID cards for immigrants
DENVER – The Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee will hear the “Community and Road Safety Act” during its Wed., April 10, 2013 meeting that begins at 1:30 p.m.
The bill would make Colorado safer by allowing taxpaying immigrant Coloradans to pass their driver safety test to get a driver’s license, buy car insurance, register cars and prove their identity to law enforcement officers.
