The odds are stacked against proposals for a racino track in Pueblo and expanded lottery gaming statewide, The Pueblo Chieftain reports.

A Legislative plan to expand the lottery to video keno and also open a horse track “racino” associated with the Colorado State Fair lacks the support it needs to go forward, Pueblo Sen. Abel Tapia said.

“The gaming bill is on hold and may end up dying,” Tapia said. A racino is a combination horse track and casino that, under the current proposal, would feature video lottery games.
