SB10-003: University Would Raise Tuition If Given Authority

Colorado State University-Pueblo would likely hike tuition by the maximum allowed under a bill passed by the state Senate on Wednesday, The Pueblo Chieftain reports.

The university’s president said it is in a delicate situation because its students can’t afford the tuition hikes that students at some other state colleges could, but deep cuts in state funding leave the university little choice.
