Lucia Guzman

A District 34 vacancy committee today appointed former Denver school board member Lucia Guzman to fill the remaining term of state Senator Paula Sandoval’s term, The Denver Post reports.

Guzmán is executive director of the Agency for Human Rights and Community Relations for the City and County of Denver, a position to which she was appointed by Mayor John Hickenlooper in 2003.
