Just as he promised, state Rep. Jack Pommer killed his nerve-rattling House Bill 1263 on Friday — but not before issuing some choice words to members of the Colorado business community who came out in force against it, The Denver Business Journal reports.
HB 1263 would have capped at $250,000 the amount of each employee’s salary that businesses could write off as an operating expense against their corporate income tax liability. The bill would not have limited any employee’s salary.
