Jan Tanner, a member of Colorado Springs’ D-11 school board, will be the party’s nominee in House District 16, which is now represented by state Rep. Larry Liston, The Colorado Springs Independent reports.

Tanner, who only decided to enter the race last week, says she considers the district covering portions of central and northern Colorado Springs “very winnable.”
