GOP’s Janich Seeking To Oust Rep. Solano In HD-31

Tom Janich, a frequent GOP candidate for elective office over the past decade. has filed paperwork to challenge incumbent Democratic Rep. Judy Solano in Colorado House District 31.
HD-31 runs from Northglenn to Brighton east of Interstate 25. It is among the most competitive districts in Colorado with 37 percent unaffiliated, 33 percent Democrat and 30 percent Republican. It is among the 22 of 65 districts that State Bill Colorado classifies as “truly competitive.”
Janich filed his paperwork in mid-March. He last ran, unsuccessfully, for Adams County assessor in 2008.
