Few New Details Emerge In Human Services Hearing

Few new details were brought to light about 10 fatality reviews from 2008 that went incomplete until February despite the more than eight hours of inquisition by the bipartisan, joint House-Senate committee composed of three lawmakers from Larimer County, The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports.

Legislators questioned a group of Colorado Department of Human Services’ top employees about why the agency failed to complete the 10 “child fatality reviews” from 2008 of kids under some level of DHS supervision during the previous five years.
