STATE BILL COLORADO
Lakewood prototyper Clint Webster, a Republican, has filed to challenge incumbent Democratic legislator Sue Schafer in her House District 24. Webster runs Windchaser Invention Prototypes. He describes himself as a master in mechanical, welding, composites, shaping and finishings.
Democrats have the registration advantage in HD-24, with 39 percent. Unaffiliateds make up 34 percent of the district’s voters, and Republicans 27 percent. Because no party has more than 40 percent of registered voters, State Bill Colorado considers the district one of 22 out of 65 that are “truly competitive.” Schafer, a career educator, is in her first term.
State Bill has updated its 2010 Election Tracker to reflect Webster’s candidacy.
