Colo. Real Estate Regulator Erin Toll Fights Back

Embattled real estate regulator Erin Toll today filed a whistleblower complaint against her boss with the State Personnel Board that says she was involuntarily placed on administrative leave last week and that an investigation into her conduct is underway, The Denver Post reports. Toll and her lawyer Bill Finger, a specialist in public employment cases, say Toll was engaged in a protected activity when she said state Sen. Ted Harvey may have a conflict concerning proposed legislation affecting how mortgage brokers are regulated.
