The state could use a four-leaf clover or a visit from a leprechaun this week, The Denver Post reports. The March revenue forecast arrives Friday, and officials are hoping it does not show yet another increase in the budget shortfall. The state will have bridged a $2.2 billion deficit in the current fiscal year that ends in June and faces at least a $1.3 billion hole in the year that begins in July.
