Bennet, Romanoff Stump in Fort Collins Ahead of Tuesday Caucuses

Colorado’s two Democratic Senate candidates trekked to Fort Collins on Sunday to make one last pitch to the party faithful ahead of Tuesday’s precinct caucuses, the Fort Collins Coloradoan reports. Both candidates —appointed incumbent Michael Bennet and former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff — addressed a common concern among the Democratic base: the failure to pass bills on issues like health care reform and energy policy despite the party controlling the White House and substantial majorities in the House and Senate.
