SB10-124: Trial Lawyers, Docs May End Up Agreeing On Transparency Bill

Could it be that doctors and trial lawyers agree on something? This week, Sen. Morgan Carroll, D-Aurora, introduced a bill with proposed changes to the Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act. Currently, the act, implemented in 2007, requires physicians licensed in Colorado to report information pertaining to their practice history. If the Carroll has her way, more health care professionals will have to fulfill these same requirements, Law Week Colorado reports.
