Legislation that would block the Department of Human Services from selling the Trinidad State Nursing Home was introduced Monday in the Colorado House, the Pueblo Chieftain reports. Rep. Wes McKinley, D-Walsh, introduced the bill, HB1217. It is being co-sponsored by House Democrats Buffie McFadyen, Sal Pace and Ed Vigil, and Rep. Marsha Looper, R-Calhan.
