HB10-1170: Effort To Amend Bill To Allow More Beer Sales Fails

A bill aimed at letting skybox ticket holders open their own beer and wine devolved into a debate over who should – and who shouldn’t – be allowed to drink in stadiums, The Denver Post writes. Led by House Majority Leader Paul Weissmann, a handful of lawmakers sought to add an amendment to House Bill 1170 that would have required stadiums allowing beer in swanky suites to also serve suds to the cheap seats.
