The Colorado State Patrol has placed three employees of the Pueblo Regional Communication Center on administrative leave after discovering a nine-minute delay in alerting a trooper to a disabled car on Interstate 25 Thursday, a delay that may have contributed to a fatal accident. Capt. Jeff Goodwin told The Pueblo Chieftain that a dispatcher was placed on leave “because the employee was watching a Christmas movie on her laptop computer,” before contacting the trooper.
