Colo. Sens. Udall, Bennet Appear To Be On Board With Health Plan

With the clock ticking, lawmakers and their staffs are scurrying for details on a public-option compromise that Democrats believe has the best chance of insuring health care reform passes the Senate by Christmas. The Denver Post reports that Colorado’s two Democratic freshmen appear to be among those willing to support the compromise, which favors a plan where consumers purchase private plans through a federally managed menu, rather than a public option.
