Colorado’s population increased by 245 people each day on average from July 1 in 2008 to the same date this year, according to new figures from the U.S. Census Bureau obtained by The Gazette. The state ranked as the fourth-fastest growing in the nation during that year, adding an estimated 89,535 people for a total of 5,024,748. It’s the first time Colorado has had more than 5 million people.
