Colorado’s AG said a deal between the Community First Foundation (CFF) and the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System Inc. for two hospitals in the Exempla Healthcare System can go forward despite a recently approved law that requires the attorney general to hold hearings on whether hospital mergers are in the community’s best interest, The Denver Business Journal reports.
