Gov. Ritter’s Schedule For Today (Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009)
11:45 a.m. Gov. Ritter will hold a news conference to sign an executive order establishing a universal policy to protect state employees from workplace and domestic violence. Gov. Ritter has proclaimed October as “Domestic Violence Awareness Month.” Location: West Foyer, State Capitol.
5:30 p.m. Gov. Ritter and the First Lady will attend the Girl Scouts’ 2009 Women of Distinction Event, which pays tribute to 12 outstanding women from various professions. 7 p.m. Gov. Ritter will speak at the Computer Software Industry Association (CSIA) DEMO Gala 2009 VIP Reception to kick off the fourth annual event.
