Dan Slater of Cañon City will announce his candidacy for Colorado Attorney General on Thursday, according to The Canon City Daily Record. “I think there is a clear difference in terms of the vision that I have, and I think most Coloradans have, for the office of Attorney General, and the vision that the current Attorney General has for the office,” Slater said Friday. Slater’s firm in Cañon City specializes in personal injury, employment law, real estate, civil litigation and small business law. He unsuccessfully campaigned for the Colorado State Senate in 2002.
